Welcome to 3/4MN.  Your teachers are Mrs Mary Anne McIntyre and Mrs Tracey - Lee Nicholas.  Mrs Mcintyre teaches from Monday to Thursday and Mrs Nicholas teaches on Friday. 

We are a multicultural class with children coming from many different countries.  Welcome to Saran and Mai who have both come from Japan this term.  Other children come from China and India.  They enjoy going to ESL lessons as well as taking part in our classroom activities.

 Everyday we have fun doing Maths, English, Science activities and really have a great time doing Art and all our specialist lessons throughout the week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Welcome back after a great break.  We have begun work strainght away.  Last term we learnt about simple machines and forms of energy.  All week we have been excited and were looking forward to our excursion to da Vinci's Machines.  On our excursion we found out about how da Vinci invented many machines and how they work.  He was also a great artist and was the first to use perspective.  Before we came home we sketched the river and the cityscape ensuring we noted perspective, lines and shape.  These drawings will be used when we create our painting for the Art Show.  We were amazed at the progress the new bridges have made and watched machines used to build them.  Over the next month we will be building our own machines.
